Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 September 2026

Beams & Dreams Construction Service Pty Ltd, trading as Beams & Dreams Constructions (“Beams & Dreams”, “we”, “us” or “our”), respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly.

This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information through our website, enquiry forms, Meta lead forms, social-media activities and construction services. We manage personal information under this policy and, where applicable, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • your name, email address and telephone number;
  • the type, location and description of your construction project;
  • communications, enquiries, quotations and service records;
  • information submitted through our website, WPForms, email or Meta lead forms;
  • campaign and attribution information, including form identifiers, timestamps, UTM parameters and campaign source;
  • website usage information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages and interactions collected through cookies, security tools and Google Analytics; and
  • photographs, video or project information where appropriate permission has been provided.

Please do not provide sensitive personal, financial or health information unless we specifically request it and explain why it is required.

2. How we collect information

We generally collect personal information directly from you when you:

  • submit a website or Meta lead form;
  • contact us by telephone, email or social media;
  • request a quotation, consultation or construction service;
  • engage us for a project; or
  • interact with our website or advertising.

We may also receive information from Meta platforms, professional advisers, project stakeholders or referral partners where authorised or reasonably expected.

3. Why we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and contact you about a requested service;
  • assess project requirements and prepare quotations;
  • manage construction projects and client relationships;
  • operate, secure and improve our website and business systems;
  • measure advertising and content performance;
  • attribute enquiries to a campaign or social-media post;
  • prevent spam, misuse, fraud and security incidents;
  • meet contractual, insurance, accounting and legal obligations; and
  • send marketing communications where permitted, with an easy method to opt out.

4. Social-media and CSMO attribution

Our Construction Social Media OS (CSMO) may record campaign identifiers, timestamps, UTM parameters, lead references and advertising-performance metrics. CSMO is designed not to retain a separate copy of a lead’s name, email address or telephone number. Personal enquiry information remains in our authorised lead-management and communication systems.

Submitting a Meta lead form also involves Meta processing information under Meta’s own privacy terms.

5. Who we disclose information to

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

  • our authorised employees and contractors;
  • construction consultants, subcontractors and professional advisers involved in a requested project;
  • website hosting, email, security, analytics and IT service providers;
  • WPForms, Google Analytics, Meta and other platforms you use to communicate with us;
  • insurers, auditors, legal advisers and regulators; and
  • law-enforcement or government bodies where required by law.

We do not sell personal information.

6. Overseas processing

Some service providers, including Meta, Google and cloud or hosting providers, may process or store information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where those providers operate. Their handling of information is also governed by their applicable privacy terms.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for website functionality, security and analytics. Google Analytics may collect information about visits and interactions to help us understand and improve website performance.

You can restrict cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect some website functions.

8. Retention

If an enquiry does not proceed, we aim to delete or de-identify its personal contact information within 30 days after the enquiry is closed, unless retention is reasonably required for security, dispute resolution or legal purposes.

If an enquiry becomes a client or project, relevant records may be retained for the period required for construction, contractual, insurance, taxation, warranty, regulatory and legal obligations.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet or electronic-storage system is completely secure.

10. Access and correction

You may request access to personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct inaccurate information. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

11. Deletion and withdrawal requests

You may request deletion of personal information that is no longer required. Some information may need to be retained where required by law, contract, insurance, project governance or dispute-resolution obligations.

Withdrawing permission for future use of project photographs or video stops future publication and distribution where applicable. It does not automatically require removal of material lawfully published before the withdrawal.

See our Data Deletion Instructions for the request process.

12. Marketing choices

You can ask us to stop sending marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe method provided or contacting us. Service-related communications about an active enquiry or project may continue where necessary.

13. Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, contact us using the details below. We will review the concern and respond within a reasonable period. If applicable and you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
